Street and Road Bikes

Caesar's Cyclery is a family-owned bike shop

Street and road bicycles for sale at marin bike shopGiant, Kona, and Redline are the brands we specialize in for competition, touring, cyclocross, fitness, and commuting bicycles. Our shop also carries Giant and Nirve comfort and cruising bikes, and Redline and Giant BMX bikes.

TCX:
A compact road-style aluminum frame with the right parts to race on or off the road! A cyclocross bike can stand up to the rigors of urban jungles or mountain trails, and get you there faster. Take the bike route to Sausalito, and follow the trails through the headlands up to Point Reyes, your options are nearly unlimited.

OCR:
For those who may only race themselves, the OCR line is comfortable performance to help you last all day. More laidback and upright geometry than race-styled bikes means you’ll enjoy a more stable bike with less discomfort as the miles pile on. Aluminum, carbon, or aluminum/carbon “Alliance” frames with several component grades available with each mean the right bike and the right price for your use.

TCR Adv.:
A frame built of the stiffest carbon available, by hand, in one piece, to help you reach the front of the peloton. The TCR series is race-ready, but the Advanced models are crafted for those who live to push themselves further and faster.

TCR Alliance:
The TCR series is a race-ready road bike designed for those who push themselves hard and expect their bike to perform at the same level. These bikes are available in aluminum, carbon, or “Alliance” frames. The Alliance models feature carbon seat stays, top tube, and upper seat tube to provide more vertical compliance and a smoother ride, while the downtube, chain stays, and lower seat tube are aluminum for lateral stiffness and power transfer. “Alliance” frames cost less, but offer similar performance and ride quality to full carbon frames.

FCR Alliance:
The FCR is Giant’s Compact Road Design with a flat bar for those who want to ride farther and faster without the discomforts that a more aggressively forward posture can lead to. Flat bar road bikes make great commuter bikes, fitness bikes, or short-trip errand bikes, and are a good balance between speed and comfort for those looking to begin or return to a healthy habit of functional exercise. The FCR is available as an aluminum or Alliance frame, depending on whether performance or cost is more important.

Sutra:
A Dedacciai Butted Cromoly frame for reliability, durability, and comfort. Disk brakes for all-weather stopping power. Front and rear racks, bar-end shifters, and you’re set up to travel in style and comfort, whether across town or cross-country, with everything that you need.

Dew:
Dew is a no-nonsense commuter bike, ready to take you to work 50 weeks of the year. A comfortable, upright posture will encourage you to ride it for fun as well. Some of this line have disk brakes, one has a suspension fork and seat post, all will quickly and reliably deliver you to your destination with a minimum of sweat and tears.

Kapu:
A steel framed road bike for those who appreciate the functionality and beauty of lugged construction, and maybe want to keep the same bike forever. Road bike materials have changed a few times since lugged steel was the popular choice, but whether that means there’s been improvement is a matter of opinion.

Major Jake:
Each of the Jake series is a go anywhere bike that will sprint like a road bike from downtown to the top of the mountain, whether you follow the pavement or not. The Jake has triple chainrings to help you when you need it most, while the Major Jake is built of a Scandium Aluminum Alloy for a smoother ride and lighter

Lisa RD:
A Carbon/Aluminum road bike for covering serious mileage at speed, with geometry designed to fit a woman’s physiology rather than a man’s.

Redline 1.1:
A freestyle BMX bike you could convince mom you’ll just ride to school and back. Stylish and tough, this bike will go anywhere you’re likely to go and won’t embarrass you or let you down.

Redline MX-20:
The T&T Series of BMX racing bikes comes with 16”, 20”, or 24” wheels and an appropriately sized frame to fit anyone from toddlers (on the smaller wheels) to adults (larger wheels). Lighter weight frame is as not suited to jumping or freestyle usage, but will help you move more quickly.

Redline Roam and Raid:
A good first BMX bike that won’t complain, even after years of going to school has piled on top of learning to jump, bunny hop, and wheelie. A simple design that’s got almost nothing extra to go wrong with it, without skimping on any important details.
